Countdown Kickoff Event Schedule
The FEI World Cup Finals will attract the world’s best horses and riders in two Olympic disciplines to the CenturyLink Center March 29-April 2, 2017. Omaha beat out London, Hong Kong and s’Hertogenbosch for the right to host the competition. It is the first-time Omaha has hosted a World Cup and, by extension, an international professional championship. Riders are expected to represent at least 25 different countries.
“This is an opportunity for sports enthusiasts from the Midwest to see the very best in international equestrian competition without having to travel to the coasts or overseas. For the City of Omaha, it’s our chance to show the more than 60,000 expected visitors from around the United States and the world what a great sports town we are,” says event CEO Mike West.
